My first lesson in my first philosophy class was that "patience is a virtue."
It's not really the virtue I want to be practicing tonight, but such is life, as I wait amid a semi-organized mob of displeased travelers to collect vouchers for a night at a hotel in New York.
There were some issues with the plane and the flight is now scheduled to depart at 10:30 a.m. tomorrow.
Update
The only hotels available were in Newark; so we're crashing at the airport.
I was joking with my buddy Tim that I was starting to feel like Tom Hanks' character from The Terminal ... that was at the 6-hour mark.
Hopefully we aren't stuck at JFK for nine months.
